SAE-3000D - Sundown Audio Monoblock 3000W RMS Digital Class D Amplifier. The Sundown SAE series was initially the result of over 3-years of testing to produce an extremely high quality budget amplifier line for Sundown Audio. We began testing the first boards in 2011 and finally released the SAE series in 2014 with the SAE-600D, SAE-1000D, SAE-50.4 once we were fully satisfied with their performance and long-term reliability.

Over the years since their launch we have increased the power levels and variety in this line as our testing and quality evaluation has confirmed their durability. We added the SAE-1500D in 2015; the SAE-2000D, SAE-1100.5, and SAE-100.4 in 2017; and finally the SAE-3000D in 2019.

The SAE line is built into a very similar heat-sink as our SCV and SAX model amplifiers so they can be used in the same install and remain cosmetically consistent. Digital Class D Linkable Monoblock Amplifier. 24dB/Oct Variable Low Pass Filter.
